The author appears to be Keith Getty. It is a simple song yet so powerful with overview of the great truth about the Lord Jesus Christ as the Great and Good Shepherd.
As for the lyrics, these are the best I can make from listening to the song. I don’t have the original to check if it is exactly faithful to the original.
Does it make sense ? Of course. WHEN eyes, ears and hearts are OPENED by God’s Holy Spirit through His free and sovereign grace so that a non-believer is GIVEN faith to see that the Lord Jesus Christ is THE Way, Truth and the Life.

Can someone tell me who is the author of this song please? it is a beautiful song about the Lord as our shepherd.
I also want to know if the words in the second stanza are right. The first three lines don’t make sense to me. Oh when eyes ? is it Oh for eyes?
